Akshay Pawar, Chapter President
Akshay Pawar holds a distinguished academic background, having earned a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualification along with a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.Com). His professional journey has spanned across leading organizations, including Deutsche India Private Limited, where he currently serves as a Senior Analyst in RTC Resiliency Buildout. Prior to this, he contributed to financial insights and handled the Global Logistics segment at Eaton Technologies. His commitment to both professional and extracurricular endeavors is evident in his role as the General Secretary during the 2022-23 term at BMCC, one of the most prestigious institutions. He is also an Active Volunteer serving IMA Pune Chapter from last 3 years. This experience provided him with valuable leadership skills and helped establish a solid foundation for his promising future.
Prasanna Jagtap, Chapter Vice-President
Prasanna is a remarkable individual who achieved her CMA qualification prior to completing her undergraduate degree and is currently pursuing a Master in Commerce from BMCC College. She holds the esteemed position of Partner at ASP Legalis and Co., where she contributes her expertise to the finance team. Prasanna's passion for finance has driven her to actively engage with the IMA Community since her undergraduate years. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is an enthusiastic volunteer in Rotary Rotaract initiatives, making meaningful contributions to various community events. Her commitment and expertise are commendable assets in both the financial and community sectors.
Prashant Shukla, Chapter Secretary
Prashant Shukla is a cost and management accountant and has been currently employed at BNY Mellon in the Financial Reporting Domain.With the strong foundation in finance pertaining to US GAAP and IFRS and deep understanding of Indirect taxation he brings it to the table. Beyond his professional expertise he has a genuine passion for sharing insights about Networking,connecting with Like minded individuals and fostering meaning connection in the field of finance.
Supriya Jamdar, Chapter Treasurer
Supriya Jamdar is a CMA and PG in Finance from Symbiosis College. She has 4 years of experience in finance domain. She is working as Financial Analyst – Corporate FP&A in Office of CFO Team for TIAA GBS India. She has experience in team building, employee engagements and volunteering in corporate organization.
Krupesh Bhutada, Chapter Webmaster
Krupesh Bhutada is currently studying Bachelor of Commerce with an Honors in Banking & Finance from the prestigious Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune. He is associated with IMA since year 2023 and currently serving as a Webmaster for Pune Chapter of Institute of Management Accounts. He has also been an integral part of various college clubs, activities, societies and events. He has also served as a campus ambassador for Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bombay. He is an inquisitive fellow and is ready to face any challenges that comes his way.
Hema Chhatani, Chapter VP-Engagement
Hema Chhatani, a qualified MBA since 2015 and currently pursuing CMA, possesses over 7 years of diverse professional experience in banking, audit, finance, and accounting across domestic and overseas markets, including India, USA, and UAE. As a Relationship Leader at Yes Bank Limited, Pune, she manages the needs and portfolios of MSME companies. Previously, she contributed to Analytix Business Solutions, offering outsourcing services in the USA and Canada, and volunteered with Simandhar Education Council. Hema also served as an active member and director at IMA Mumbai Chapter in 2022-2023, honing her technical and soft skills such as leadership, communication, presentation, and networking. She is currently dedicated to promoting IMA engagement and growth within the Pune Chapter, eager to further enhance her professional journey through interaction, service, and personal development.

Akash Raheja is a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for the field of finance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Management Accountant with a track record of excellence. With a strong background as a Fund Accountant and his current role as a Business Analyst for a mutual fund software, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any endeavor. As a board member for the IMA Pune chapter, Akash actively contributes to the finance community. His role involves creating awareness among finance enthusiasts and assisting them in achieving their goals.
Sunil Deshmukh, Chapter Director
Sunil Deshmukh, CMA, is a distinguished leader, strategic consultant, an executive and leadership coach and global director. He comes with a wealth of global experience in the field of business management, leadership development, business strategy, executive coaching, board management, corporate governance, risk management, ESG etc. Currently, he holds the position of Chair-Elect of IMA's Global Board of Directors for the 2023-2024, first Asian to be appointed as Global Chair. With a career spanning three decades, Sunil has navigated the complexities of consumer markets across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. His journey has involved crafting business strategies, managing operations, and providing invaluable board-level oversight and governance. He has held leadership positions such as CFO, Managing Director, and CEO in multinational corporations and large family-managed enterprises, spanning diverse industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution, supply chain, and logistics. Sunil in on IMA’s Global Board of Directors since 2021 and has contributed significantly to various board committees. His dedication to IMA extends to leadership roles at the local level, where he has served as president of IMA's Mumbai and Pune Chapters, among other key responsibilities. He is the first Indian to receive IMA Champion Award in 2020.
Mansi Shah, Chapter Director
Mansi Shah is a Qualified CMA (Certified Management Accountant) along with Bachelors degree in Commerce. She has recently started her Professional journey with the leading organization Deutsche Bank as a Financial Risk Regulatory Analyst with Liquidity Treasury and Reporting team. Her dedication and commitment have made her being consistent towards work and studies. She is also an Active Volunteer serving IMA Pune Chapter. Bhakti Supekar, Chapter Director
Bhakti Supekar possesses an impressive academic background and a promising finance and accounting career. Her qualifications include a Masters in Commerce, Banking and Finance specialization from Pune University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from BMCC College. She is certified in Professional Business Accountancy (PBA) from ITAP Institute in Pune. She is pursuing CMA & presently interning in the Accounts Payable department for DNV's South Asia team, focusing on Malaysia.

His professional journey has started as a Compliance Analyst in Credit Suisse. Prior to this, he has worked as a intern in Crif Highmark Credit Bureau during his under grad where he has gained experience in consulting credit reports of B2B and B2C.
